Bible Study & Tutoring

Have you ever been in a situation...
- Found yourself completely lost as to what was being taught in the Bible?
- New believer and felt out of place in a group Bible Study?
- You read your Bible but don't know how to study it?
- Have you felt out of place in a Bible study?
- Do you struggle to find things in your Bible?
- Are you new to reading the Bible?
Do you struggle with...
- Stopped attending Bible study because you felt that everyone else was more knowledgeable than you about the Bible?
- Afraid to speak up, join the discussion, or answer any questions in the Bible study group or at church?
- Had no idea what all the Bible/theology terminologies meant?
- Have you been a victim of legalism or spiritual abuse?
- Has the Bible, God's Word, been used as a spiritual weapon against you?
The above is just a small list of the reasons I hear why women struggle to read their Bibles, grow in their relationship with God, and participate in Bible study discussions.Instead, they lean into feel-good Christian books & devotionals, or the latest speaker to tell them what the Bible says or for guidance. These types of Christian resources mean well, but they don't provide the full understanding of the Scriptures in context. They are meant to make people draw near to God emotionally. How does a person know if what they are reading or hearing in those books, videos, or speakers is truly the Word of God and what the Bible actually says or means if they have not read the Bible for themselves or learned skills to hermeneutically read the Scripture in context?

Bible Tutoring

I am currently in the process of moving to a different state. I will be reopening my office both virtually and in person in late Fall of 2026.Bible Tutoring equips women with the tools and skills they need to open their Bible and begin reading with confidence.- Be able to read and understand the Bible.
- Learn to break down Scripture to understand its context.
- Learn how to study it verse by verse, chapter by chapter.
- Have confidence when attending group Bible studies.
- Learn basic Bible terminologies
- What Bible translation is best for you?
- Exegesis vs Eisegesis. What's the difference? Why is that important?
Learn how to study the Bible for yourself without using a study guide.Studying the Bible:
- Strengthens discernment.
- Draws you near to God.
- Helps you to identify false teachings and doctrine.
- Transforms your heart to the things of God.
- Helps you to hear God's voice and discern His will for you.
- Connects a Believer to the Holy Spirit, who is the one who illuminates Scripture.

Women's Groups

She Wisely Reads aims to help women anchor their faith in God through Bible Tutoring, Group Bible Study, and Discipleship.

I am currently in the process of moving. Women's Bible study group, book club, personal discipleship, and tutoring will hopefully resume in late Fall 2026.

Discipleship & Mentoring

Biblical coaching/counseling is rooted in the Holy Bible, God's Word. All that is discussed during a session is processed through a biblical context. A Biblical coach/counselor is not a Pastor or Therapist and does not function as one.A typical biblical discipleship coaching session opens and closes in prayer to God. The main tools used during a session are:
- conversation, listening, prayer
- the Holy Bible, discernment
- some study materials
All homework, reading materials, or soul-researching information recommended to the client is rooted in Christian historical biblical truths from the Holy Bible.
Biblical discipleship coaching is helpful in all areas of the Christian life, whether the goal is to improve one's biblical understanding of God and the Bible, free oneself from legalism and spiritual abuse, or deepen a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.Coaching encourages growth through prayer, Bible Study, and self-learning rather than telling.Biblical Counseling is considered a layperson's ministry and is obtained by a college degree. It is not a licensed profession. A copy of the professional disclaimer is available in the office and is given to all clients. My office/ministry is temporarily closed as I am in the process of moving.
